“We” and “us” in this policy mean High Caliber Trading Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales, company number 13118124, registered office 86-90 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NE, VAT GB 376 5944 46, trading as High Caliber Applications. Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy as our merchant of record: they take the payment, handle VAT and issue the receipt, and a refund is returned through them to the card you used. You buy from us with the full protection of UK consumer law. This policy sets out your legal right to cancel, your rights if a product is faulty, and the goodwill money-back guarantee we add on top. Nothing here reduces your statutory rights.
If you are a consumer buying from us at a distance, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you the right to cancel within 14 days of buying and to receive a full refund. You do not need to give a reason.
Our apps are digital content delivered by download, so one exception set out in law applies. That right ends early only if two things both happen: you ask for the download to be made available immediately, before the 14 days are up, and you expressly acknowledge that asking for it ends your cancellation right. If you were not clearly asked for both, your full 14-day right remains — and in any case our own 14-day money-back guarantee below applies from the day you buy. Business customers do not have a statutory cancellation right.
Stated plainly, because people are often caught out by this: a refund switches off the licence key for that purchase. When Lemon Squeezy tells us an order has been refunded, the key issued with it is disabled automatically, and the app returns to its free preview — you can still open your files and see what is recoverable, but saving the results out needs a licence again. Anything you already exported to disk is yours and is untouched.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for its purpose, and as described. If it is not, you are entitled to a repair or replacement, and if that does not fix the problem, to a price reduction or a refund. These rights are not limited to 14 days and are not affected by the exception above.
On top of your statutory rights, every paid High Caliber app comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee from the day of purchase. If an app does not do what its product page describes for your file, or if you simply change your mind within those 14 days, tell us and we will refund you — we would rather keep your goodwill than win a dispute. One goodwill refund per customer per product; your statutory rights are unaffected. The free preview mode of every app carries no charge at all.
Where a product offers a free preview, use it to confirm the app opens, previews, or reports on your file before paying. It is the surest way to avoid a purchase that is not right for you.
We may decline a refund under our goodwill guarantee only in clear cases of abuse — for example repeated refund cycles, or bulk commercial migration completed under a personal licence where separate terms apply. Your statutory cancellation and faulty-product rights are never affected. Refund review uses only your licence, order and support records; we never inspect your private file content unless you choose to send it to us for support.
Email support@highcaliberapplications.com with your order reference and the product name. Refunds are made to your original payment method, without charge to you, and no later than 14 days after the day you tell us you are cancelling, as the Regulations require. UK consumers can also seek free advice from Citizens Advice.
