High Caliber Applications — store legal
Terms of Use
Last updated: 22 July 2026. These terms cover this website and every app sold on it — our legacy-file recovery tools and our buy-once apps.
Our position on other companies' software
The apps sold on this store are independent tools. They are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the makers of the software or file formats they read or are compatible with. Where a third-party product or format name appears, it is used only to describe what a tool works with. See our Format and trademark notice.
Who you are buying from
Apps on this store are sold and operated by High Caliber Trading Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 13118124), registered office 86–90 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NE. Purchases are completed through our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy, who handle checkout, payment and sales-tax/VAT. Support and contract enquiries: support@highcaliberapplications.com.
What these terms cover
These terms govern your use of this website and the apps sold on it. Full product-specific terms are presented at the point of purchase for each app; where a product's own terms differ, those apply to that product. They are in addition to, and do not reduce, your statutory rights as a consumer.
A one-time licence you own
When you buy an app, we grant you a licence to use that app. Our apps are sold as buy-once software: there is no subscription and no account lock-in, and the software stays yours to keep. Licences are for your own use unless the product page states otherwise (for example, our per-organisation tools).
Use it only on files you have the right to
Our recovery tools and apps are for use only with files you own, control, or otherwise have permission to access. You are responsible for having the right to open, recover, and export your own files. Our tools open files you already own; they perform no password cracking, DRM removal, or circumvention of technical protection.
Honest limits — no guarantee of perfect recovery
Legacy formats vary by application version, corruption, embedded resources, and undocumented behaviour. Recovery results are condition-dependent. We report limitations honestly and may recover partial structure where full fidelity is not possible; we do not promise a complete or perfect recovery of every file. Please check recovered content before relying on it in a professional or legal context.
Your original files are read-only
Our recovery tools open your source files read-only and write exports to a separate location you choose, so your originals are left as they were. Keep backups of important files, and work from recovered copies rather than overwriting originals.
Supported vs roadmap features
Only formats and features clearly marked as available are supported in the current build of an app. Anything described as roadmap, planned, or "coming soon" is not guaranteed until it ships, is tested, and is documented in the app.
Your statutory rights stand
Nothing in these terms reduces or removes your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. How those rights apply to a purchase is set out in our Refund and cancellation policy.
Governing law
This website and these terms are provided for information and without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. They are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
